Thoughts on Retirement at 70+
What do you think about the new retirement ages?Maybe by the time you reach the magic number it will be 80!Quite a thought!Bit of a joke really if you are still drawing breath you can draw a pension!Whatever you will be fit enough o do the things you have been waiting to do is another matter.
How fit will you be? Will you live that long? How big is your pension pot anyway will you need to subsidize it.
You have considered other options to build a fund, become a DJ, probably not, wedding photography, not really your scene. House renovation, you do not have the capital and you're not much good a DIY anyway. The lottery does not offer much hope your future looks pretty bleak.
You have considered internet marketing, sourcing products from large online distribution warehouses, but how do you know which products are best sellers? Then there are websites to build, marketing to learn, could you do it? Plus your laptop is very old and is not it Windows 10 now?
Wait a minute what's this, there is an alternative, another way of starting online, affiliate marketing with a mentor. Your mentor provides the products, the training and probably sales pages so you do not have to build a website initially and you can start learning while learning the techniques required; and you could get a good reconditioned Windows 7 laptop advertised, so not so much to learn right away. So what are you waiting for give it a go!
Begin part-time whilst you have an income for any training costs or if you want to use paid advertising like PPC or Solo ads. However there are tons of ways of harnessing organic, free traffic.
So think of the benefits, a hobby you turn into an internet business with the guidance of a mentor; you will be using a tried and tested formula, plus you are leaving more about your favorite hobby. This will give you an interest in later years with time freedom to enjoy your retirement and extra cash too.
Also once you have learned the basics you can be learning, so you can sack the boss, take early retirement and really live your life. Working at something you love, your chosen hobby will not feel like work at all.
Wishing you great success in your new venture.
