Hello and welcome to my vlog! As I woke up this morning, I opened the window and saw that the snow had fallen overnight so I decided to walk through the park on my way to work. I love the sight of snow, no matter where I am. The surroundings look so much more beautiful

When they are covered in snow. Now that I've got off from work, I am heading home to take a hot bath and warm up. I'm going to make an apple and cinnamon-scented bubble bath. I'm also going to use this Jo Malone gel my sister gave me

And this candle that was also part of the set. The set also included elegant, black matches. I usually take off my make-up in the shower or while I'm taking a bath. After the bath, I'm going to make myself a calming herbal tea.

I usually drink herbal tea in the evenings before going to bed. I always use a blend of different herbs like lavender and lemon balm and add a spoonful of dried peppermint leaves. I'm also going to have some fruits. In winter, my favourites are mandarins and apples.

I'm going to cut it up so that it is easier to peel. I'm going to try one of the melatonin gummies my sister has bought. They have a firm consistency. I'm using a DIY rose water mist with a little jojoba oil. I'm mixing the WHAMISA Refresh Toner

With the WHAMISA Cactus Bouncy Serum. I put a drop of my night serum into my palm and tap it onto my face. I apply the calming lavender night cream using the same method. This is a DIY rose oil.

As a last step, I put a layer of shea butter on my skin to lock in the moisture. This is a step I add to my winter skincare routine to protect my skin from the cold and keep it from drying out. I rub the shea butter between my palms to melt it

Because shea butter is firm at room temperature. I'm going to use this sample of Jo Malone body cream and apply it on my forearms. Keeping my hands moisturized is an important step, too. I'm going to apply nail oil and my favourite fragrance-free handcream from Neutrogena.

Before going to sleep, I am going to read for a while. Finally, the weekend has arrived! I'm going to style my hair first and apply a moisturizing hair oil after styling. I have been looking forward to the first heavy snowfall of the year

Because there is a place I wanted to go when it's snowing. Every year, we drive up into the higher regions where people usually go for sledging and skiing because the snowfalls are heavier there. Walking to the top of the hill is our winter ritual.

Last year, my sister took beautiful pictures of the village at the foot of the hill at sunset but this year I want to see it for myself. I'm going to make a quick breakfast We are going to have my favourite jasmine tea.

I'm going to cut up a banana as a topping for the oatmeal. I've made a cinnamon oatmeal which I am often making in the fall and winter time. After breakfast, I'm going to apply my makeup. And now, we're ready to go! It was a sunny day.

As we drove, I watched the sun shining through the trees. We're getting closer to the snow. The familiar sight of the villages surrounded by woods. My mom has made pancakes for breakfast. Meanwhile I'm going to deck the table. I would like to top my pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup.

This is where we are going. This bauble reminds me of the snowy village we get to see every winter. We still haven't taken down our Christmas tree. Finally, the moment has arrived when I get to see the snowy woods again. As we are passing a clearing

I look at the people walking through the snow. There are large snowdrifts here that cover the streets and cars. Now, we can begin our walk through the snowy woods. We took the longer route instead of the steep climb which would have brought us faster to our destination.

This way, we got to enjoy the beautiful winter scenery. The snow beside the forest track covered half of my lower legs. Halfway up the mountain, the icy blue sky was slowly becoming visible through the white puffy clouds. The sight of the silver, snow-covered fir trees

And the weak winter sun shining through the clouds filled my winter-loving heart with joy. The beautiful sight of the sky through the frost covered boughs. The trees in this part of the forest are completely white. I wanted to make it to the hilltop in time to see the sunset.

There were a lot of people sledging and skiing at the top, and the first thing I did was to look down at the village. This tower was completely covered by frost. We walked for three hours, so we went to the restaurant to warm up and get a warm meal.

We had these steamed, plum-filled buns with vanilla sauce and poppy-seed topping. They were soft and delicious. Me and my sister also shared a vegetarian burger with fries, which I didn't film. When we were done with the meal, the sun was setting and I did get to see the sunset.

The ski lift ceased working and a calm was settling in that replaced the lively atmosphere. There is a particular, quiet beauty about the winter sunset. The moon was visible through the fir trees. This is what we came here to do. We wanted to sled down from the top of the mountain at sunset.

My sister went ahead of me. And now it's my turn. Although the temperature had dropped to -5°C and the wind was stinging, sledding down the mountain at sunset was worth it all. The village is coming into sight by now.

The sky lit up into bright red and yellow colours as the last rays of the sun disappeared. It was slowly becoming darker. I met my sister at the foot of the hill. I was just sitting there, watching the lights of the village. This is where we came in earlier.

As I watched my sister disappear into the forest I thought of Lucy's journey through the wardrobe in "The Chronicles of Narnia". This old church is a sight we always come to see. It's especially beautiful in the night when it's lit up.

The moon was shining bright and you could see the stars in the clear sky. On Sunday, my mom made breakfast again. Those cottage cheese pancakes are her specialty. I like to put sour cream, blackcurrant jam, and raspberry jelly on top.

After I had breakfast with my family, I am going to take care of my skin. In the mornings, I only use a cleansing foam. I'm going to wash my face and apply a sheet mask. After washing my face, I am using a hydrating face mist with hyaluronic acid

And apply my usual eye cream. This is a sheet mask from a Japanese brand my sister gave me. After long hours out in the cold yesterday, my skin needs extra nourishment. We came back home late, but I wanted to cook a meal I could take to work tomorrow.

After I discovered a winter noodle salad recipe with orchiette and brussels sprouts this type of noodles became my favourite pairing for different kinds of cabbage. I'm going to fill up the empty jar. Next, I'm going to cut the broccoli into pieces and roast it together with chickpeas in the oven.

I'm cutting it into small pieces because they are going to roast faster. I'm also using the inner part of the stem. I put it into the oven together with the rest of the ingredients, but I also like to eat it raw because it tastes like turnip cabbage.

Especially in winter, I like to make hearty recipes with cabbage. I'm placing the broccoli pieces on a baking sheet followed by chickpeas. Finally, I'm going to drizzle everything with olive oil. Next, I'm going to cook the pasta. Once the pasta is cooked

I will put in a little olive oil to keep the pieces from sticking together. This is a trick my dad taught me. Now, I'm going to add the roasted broccoli and the chickpeas. I'm also going to add some spices. I'm using a spice mix, black and white pepper, and garlic powder.

It's a quick and simple recipe. I am going to make a warm salad with the rest of the roasted vegetables. I'm preparing a dressing with yogurt, mayonnaise, and the same spices I used earlier. Now I'm going to stir everything together. A little salt and pepper on top and it's done.

It did taste very well. I'm going to put the noodle salad into a foldable container. Lunch for the next day is ready. Thank you very much for watching my vlog!
